In 1982 when Bruce Phillips started Philpac, he had hoped to carve out a nice life for his family in an industry that he had gotten to know well in the prior 25 years. However, his dream was to build something bigger. Bigger and much, much better. He was tired of hearing about companies that just did things the same old way, and he wanted to do things in a way that put the customer first. And so began Philpac’s customer-centric mission, before “customer-centric” even became the buzz word that it is today.
From the time Philpac acquired its first piece of equipment until today, the company maintained that customer-centric mantra. What “drove” us as a company in those humble beginnings of a business run from the front seat of Bruce’s car still “drives” us today. In two manufacturing facilities with 170,000 square feet of production and warehouse space we still put the customer first… whatever it takes.
